You said \"both from a legal and technical perspective\" and I'd like to point out that while legal measures and following up on theft reports are very good things, they only help AFTER thefts have occurred, and for thieves selling stolen designs on non-Spreadshirt platforms OUTSIDE of Spreadshirt's direct control (e.g. on Amazon, Etsy, etc.), Spreadshirt will probably only have the time\/resources available to go after the biggest-scale offenders, whereas technical measures (presumably resolution limitation, since watermarking's already been ruled out) actually PREVENT most thefts (of non-trivial designs) before they ever start, by enormously raising the time\/skill\/effort level required, and it's effective against ALL would-be thieves, not just the biggest-scale ones, and on all selling platforms! What's the point in designing something to sell if who you are selling it too can change what you designed?
