We have now reached the beta-phase of the process, and that\u2019s where you come in! Similar to how we requested your help on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spreadshirt.com\/blog\/2018\/03\/05\/brand-new-list-page\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">our new list page<\/a>, we need you to tell us what\u2019s hot and what\u2019s not on the revamped detail page. Please take part in our beta test and make your opinion count. You\u2019ll be first in line to see and test the Shop in its brand-new form. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more-->You can now access the beta (test) version of your Shop by replacing the URL element shop with shopbeta in front of .spreadshirt (i.e. shopbeta.spreadshirt.de\/SpreadShop).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Please leave any feedback in the comment section below.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Until the end of March, you can try out the beta version of the page. We\u2019re planning to release a revamped Shop <strong>in the beginning of April<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the improvements include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An alluring new layout<\/li>\n<li>Improved performance and shorter loading times<\/li>\n<li>Optimization for mobile users<\/li>\n<li>A single version of the detail page (instead of the current two-option layout)<\/li>\n<li>Improved ranking on Google and other search engines thanks to upgraded meta data and schema.org support<\/li>\n<li>Social media integration with Open Graph protocols<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class='wp-caption aligncenter sprd-caption'>\n<div class='wp-caption-inner'><picture><img src='https:\/\/images.spreadshop.com\/image\/upload\/f_auto,q_70,t_postImgF_d\/v1622823570\/blog\/MDS-845-BP-SpreadShop-Detailpage-Beta_CW12_dxanmb.jpg' alt=''\/><\/picture><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Shop Owner with your own CSS?<\/h2>\n<p>We\u2019re defining completely <strong>new CSS classes<\/strong> for the new detail page, and they\u2019re already in place in the beta version. Now, you can define separate \u201cHTML &amp; CSS\u201c styles in the CSS field of your extended Shop settings, both for the current version and the beta version.<\/p>\n<p>These new definitions <strong>may not work with your current CSS<\/strong> on the beta version\u2019s detail page. In this case, they will<strong> also not work in the upcoming version <\/strong>of the page. This may require you to adjust your layout ideas to the new classes.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, throughout the beta phase, we\u2019ll respond to feedback and suggestions as we continue to improve the system. This means that the beta version may receive another overhaul by the time it goes live.<\/p>\n<h2>Shops tied in with JavaScript<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Embedding with JavaScript<\/strong> is also possible with the beta version. Just create a new page in your webspace and copy over the embedded code. SImply change the JavaScript code from shop.spreadshirt to shopbeta.spreadshirt \u00a0so that the beta version is completely embedded.<\/p>\n<h2>What\u2019s next?<\/h2>\n<p>The new detail page will be released in the beginning of April. What\u2019s more, we\u2019re already tackling the next challenge. We\u2019ll be adding the ability to choose model images and include products\u2019 ekomi ratings in further iterations of this page! Also, keep an eye out for shop collections and cool, new features to easily market your products via Facebook.<\/p>\n<p><em>Feedback on the detail page will help us help you.
