You have the rights to the pictures because you took them yourself, but still you don’t have the rights to the image of the band. It’s like someone took a picture of you and tried to sell it somewhere without your permission. Hope I helped 🙂

I’m with you. Even after their reply, I’m still stumped why I see designs featuring donald trump’s face and name, pictures of other famous people and a whole section of Harry Potter merchandise. I’m just confused.

Hey Rypo, no worries! Note that you’re on the SPREADSHOP blog. So this is about Shops. While we’re the same mother company, Spreadshirt Marketplace is a whole other business unit than ours. Every design has a “REPORT” this design issue, and every day, hundreds, maybe thousands of designs are removed for infringement. At Spreadshop we take it really seriously, not only because we want to protect the copyright owners, but we also want to help protect the unknowing customer from making a big mistake.

With that many being uploaded every day, its impossible for AI to catch them all, but sooner or later, the staff or the law will catch up to you if you’re breaking rules. In the meantime, if you’re cruising around Marketplace or any shops and you see something you can report it very easily by hitting the little “FLAG” on every item.
