May is the time when many of us do some much needed spring cleaning. And since we always crave to be one step ahead, we’ve done our bit of cleaning already: the user area has been around for a while and become somewhat hard to navigate. That’s why we’ve been working on an update, and over the next two weeks, we’ll be implementing a few changes as far as the arrangement of sections is concerned. Next to receiving an updated structure, we’ll introduce a few new and informative terms. The changes should take a approximately two weeks to implement.
It will be easier to navigate through the updated structure, but you may need to get used to it first. You will find the important areas for running your shop highlighted. A marked improvement here is that new content can more easily be accessed. New functions, however, have not yet been installed.
You are going to receive an update on what exactly has been changed once it’s in place. In case there should be any unforeseen problems in the process, you can get in touch with our service team on the forum.

And you’re completeley right, that’s why we’re intending to introduce technical and legal measures to ensure that your designs will be safe from a third party disseizing you of your designs in future. We are going to update you on this matter as soon as we’ve come up with a clear-cut solution designed to keep the problem in check in the very near future.

Thanks so much for the update, Leila! It’s great to hear the phrase “near future” in connection with a solution to this problem! You said “both from a legal and technical perspective” and I’d like to point out that while legal measures and following up on theft reports are very good things, they only help AFTER thefts have occurred, and for thieves selling stolen designs on non-Spreadshirt platforms OUTSIDE of Spreadshirt’s direct control (e.g. on Amazon, Etsy, etc.), Spreadshirt will probably only have the time/resources available to go after the biggest-scale offenders, whereas technical measures (presumably resolution limitation, since watermarking’s already been ruled out) actually PREVENT most thefts (of non-trivial designs) before they ever start, by enormously raising the time/skill/effort level required, and it’s effective against ALL would-be thieves, not just the biggest-scale ones, and on all selling platforms! In summary, my main point is that resolution limitation is key! Thanks again!

Thank you for your feedback! We’re aware of the problem that some people steal designs of others, and we’re currently working on a solution to this problem. In the near future, we’ll be introducing new measures – both from a legal and technical perspective – to tackle this problem at hand. We’ll update all of our partners on this matter once we’ve come up with a pertinent solution. We can, however, guarantee you that we follow up cases of theft whenever we become aware of them and take action to eliminate any issue of this kind.

Hi,Every one in the user Area that has been updated recently and i strongly believed that spread shirt website is having a new look as regards to Facebook where friends do share and interact with each other.Now our shops also has been updated to attract customers and other web visitors.More purchase and orders can be placed.

Hello James, could you please contact our customer service and describe your problem relating Firefox in detail? It´s important to mention you Partner ID as well. We have noticed that a lot of Firefox-related issues that arise are due to an obsolete version of the browser. What just happened – I can no longer navigate within my shop, to my designs page??? Also, all of the direct links I have posted on social media, as well as have used in advertisements have stopped working – they all direct the user to the home page of my shop now. Everything was still working correctly yesterday. PLEASE FIX ASAP!!!
PLEASE bring back the option to buy items using our credit! I’ll buy more if you do…
These new changes look great, unfortunately the Spreadshirt platform is still unusable for me until they give me the option, if I so choose, to REDUCE/LIMIT DESIGN PREVIEW IMAGE SIZES to prevent easy mass theft of all my designs! Add THAT option while you’re re-doing the user area, PLEASE!
More fonts would be great and the ability to manipulate it on the t-shirt (i.e. curve). Discount for shop owner purchasing their own t-shirts.

How about you increase the product previews for the online shops. A customer can’t see any details of the design with its current magnified settings when you hover over the design.
I have hundreds of other issues with your service, this is just my most recent bother.
When are we going to see product sets or templates like the other fulfillment giants? Adding products one by one when you have a lot of designs/products is stone age.

Hopefully you add a way to save a design without sharing it an if I choose to share it, they can only change the product and not the design. What’s the point in designing something to sell if who you are selling it too can change what you designed? Letting them pick the product is fine (i.e. t-shirt, hoodie, etc), but don’t let them change the design.
The changes are exactly what is needed! Success only awaits with the new interface. Business will thrive!
All of the “improvements” that spreadshirt made in the last years ended up being disasters, from the new buggy tshirt designer to the new checkout with annoying spreadshirt branding. Oh and did i talk about the new clothes with spreadshirt branding ? The price increase ? Please just stop changing things if it just makes it worse 🙁
The changes sound like a good step forward but what I’d really like to see is a discount for purchasing your own designs/products or at least don’t charge us for our own designs rather than paying us for purchasing it.
Hopefully we will see the ability to change the order of our shops and how they appear to shoppers on our user profile page. A click and drag feature on the shops overview page would be awesome! Different shops can be better promoted at various times of the year with the ability to move them to the top of the shops list.
I cant wait to see the new changes you’ve made. But you guys should look into a percentage discount calculator for shop owners in the future.
..A promotion service would be cool too, but hey, facebook’s always right there beckoning. (I mean that in every way sarcastically)
