YouTube x Spreadshop Presents: Merch Shelf

You heard it here first, our recent partnership has big things in store for YouTube creators and merch lovers around the world.

What’s merch shelf?

Merch shelf allows YouTube creators to sell merch on their channel directly below their videos. In addition to being an extra source of income for creators, it allows them to connect with their subscribers all around the world in a new way. Plus, who doesn’t dream of curating their own merch collection?!

How it works

1. Go to YouTube Studio > Monetization > Merchandise.
2. Register with Spreadshop. Create your first product and activate your Shop.
3. Wait for YouTube to verify your designs and approve you for merch shelf.
4. Add products to your merch area in YouTube Studio > Monetization.

To use merch shelf, you must meet the following requirements…

• Be approved for monetization
• Have 1,000 subscribers
• And a few other requirements per here

To see if you qualify, visit your YouTube Studio, click on Monetization and then Merchandise. You’ll only see this option if your channel is eligible.
