You heard it here first, our recent partnership has big things in store for YouTube creators and merch lovers around the world.
What’s merch shelf?
Merch shelf allows YouTube creators to sell merch on their channel directly below their videos. In addition to being an extra source of income for creators, it allows them to connect with their subscribers all around the world in a new way. Plus, who doesn’t dream of curating their own merch collection?!
How it works
- Go to YouTube Studio > Monetization > Merchandise.
- Register with Spreadshop. Create your first product and activate your Shop.
- Wait for YouTube to verify your designs and approve you for merch shelf.
- Add products to your merch area in YouTube Studio > Monetization.
To use merch shelf, you must meet the following requirements…
- Your country must be a part of YouTube’s Partner Program
- You must have at least 10,000 subscribers
- You need 4,000 hours of video play time per year
- Your channel must be eligible for monetization
If you meet the above requirements, get started with merch shelf by going to YouTube Studio > Monetization > Merchandise.
