Participate in the Spreadshop Forum AMA

Have you ever wanted the opportunity to directly ask our Spreadshop developers any technical, Shop-related questions? Well, now’s your opportunity, as we’ll be holding an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session on our forum on Wednesday, May 30th between 6:00am and 12:00pm (EST).

What to Expect

Two of our developers, Yves and Sebastian, will continually answer any questions in English and German. They’ll specifically be answering any technical questions that pertain to your Shop. For instance, you may want to ask about

  • Different view modes (design-based, designer-only, etc.)
  • Styling, colors, and CSS
  • Embedded Shop how-to’s, advantages, and pitfalls
  • International Shops and NA/EU Shop linking
  • Tracking (Google analytics, Facebook, etc.)
  • Custom HTML (header, footer)

We ask that all participants stay on topic. If a question doesn’t pertain to Spreadshop, it will either be deleted, ignored, or transferred to someone who can properly answer the question (based on discretion of the mod team).

How Is This Different than the Forum?

We know what you’re thinking: isn’t the forum intended for questions and answers to these questions? Yes, that’s correct, but the AMA is intended to speed up the entire process.

Often, when questions are very specific or technical, our mod team will have to pass the inquiry along to our developers. It may take them several days to respond, and some of the major components may be lost as they’re passed from the developers to the mod team (and, subsequently, to whoever asked the question in the first place). Thanks to this AMA, you’ll receive your answers directly from the experts.

How to Prepare

Fortunately, it doesn’t take much to participate. Simply visit our forum on May 30th between 6:00am and 12:00pm (EST) and ask your question and explore the replies.

Remember to stay on topic, and make sure you ALWAYS provide a link to your Shop.

We hope you’re as excited as we are! Start preparing those questions, and we hope to see you there!

Hi, Sara, yeah, it booted me because it said I was a “new” user….And honestly, I got the same answers from them as I do my account manager. I had hoped by speaking to them directly that I would have an opportunity to be heard; that wasnt the case….I think the programmers look at your entire system from a code point of view and are quite proud of themselves. Unfortunately, for the artistic types like me, and for whom the site should be geared towards, are left out completely and have to try to function with what we are given…

My customers are well taken care of by Spreadshirt. Orders are always shipped early and perfectly. Customer support always takes care of any issues. Now if only the shop owner was cared for the way the way my customers are….

Hey Jaycee,

We very much care about you (our shop owners). What are exactly your questions? I’m very happy to help out and so are our developers. Maybe there’s a misunderstanding.

Let me know 🙂

Wow, that was kind of disappointing…I got booted because it said I was new and could only ask so many questions the first day….Weird because I have been with you guys 3 years and have used the forum before. And even when there is a dedicated forum I couldnt get responses!! There were only 2 people people and a few questions 🙁

I work so hard with my shop, love the products, the workmanship, the customer service (for printing) but just feel so abandoned as a shop owner….
