“Fresh Beer Needs Fresh Merch.”

That’s where we come in. This year we became official members of the Brewers Association to help as many bars, breweries and restaurants offer sustainable merchandise for free. We’ve been talking to independent breweries for years now who use Spreadshop as a a way to provide high quality merchandise to their fans without breaking the bank. Especially during 2020 we saw an uptick in the number of independently owned bars and restaurants looking for ways to remain profitable, while cutting down costs. One of the first things to go was merchandise or being able to re-stock apparel items. Print-on-demand merchandise suddenly made more sense.

Listen to Jeff Guidos from All Saints Brewing.

Why merchandise is a struggle for many small business owners

In some of our conversations we learned just what a hassle stocking merchandise could be for a small to mid-size operation. You’d gamble on up-front stock fees or monthly warehouse and fulfillment fees. E-Commerce could be a real pain in ass for a busy brewer. Suddenly you have to hire a web designer or someone to help run that side of the business, and every step along the way you’re adding a cost. Many brewers we talked to spent more in Shopify or Squarespace fees than ever made a profit on their merchandise sales. That’s a damn shame! It shouldn’t be that way. Merch should be easy…

Making merch easy

That’s our mission at Spreadshop. Even small brands and home brewers can look big with high quality merchandise. Like Cryptid up there. We try to take all those pain points we hear and solve them. #1 we make it free to use, and super easy to setup. You know the deal… register for free, upload your design, layout your products and you’re selling in minutes. Not days. Not cheap garbage. High-quality merch your customers will love.

How about a pint?

We’re super excited about this new pint cup. It’s made of steel with a nice textured ceramic feel finish, guaranteed to keep beverages colder longer than boring old glass. And your designs will really pop off on this surface. The local brewery already wants to buy a batch for in-house sales or use. A bulk order you say? Yeah, we can do that too. Just shoot as an email of what you need and we’ll get you hooked up.

If you’re a craft brewery or home brewer looking to launch merch the smart and sustainable way, get your free shop here. It’s always free, and always awesome.
